Hmm... well still sort of here, I guess.
I seem to have this total sort of apathy towards pretty much any online stuff these days, I mean, I check my emails but I pretty much never send any, I check myspazz but I still haven't gotten round to doing anything about my profile on there, I read other peoples livejournals but I never post in my own any more, and I don't seem to post on here any more either, not even to comment on other peoples work although rest assure I do look and am suitably impressed! I guess I wish I could regain some of the enthusiasm I used to have for these things. I mean, I used to care if I had art to post here or not, and then I used to care if anyone was looking at it and if anyone would comment, but now I can't even seem to find the urge to post any more. More than that, I wish I could summon the enthusiasm to leave comments on the work of the artists I admire, but I seem not to have anything to say any more.
Meh, maybe I'll find that spark again when I go to uni in the autumn.
One can but hope.

So I figured I've been dead on here long enough so I'd better dig out something to post.
So I have.
And I figured a journal post might be a good thing to accompany it.
Not that I really expect anyone to pay any attention to either.
But meh.

So I briefly return to tell you all, once again, that I still live.
No new art, no new information, no new anything really.
Just a quick note.
I'm alive.

I feel no compulsion to be a part of this any more.
There's something missing from dA these days, and I feel it every time I visit.
So for now I shall simply return occasionally to reassure you all all I still live.
Perhaps.

I'm looking for someone to draw a commission for me at the moment...

What I'm after is a simple image for use in an ad, probably a shot of something like looking into the bell of a brass instrument (or any other ideas welcome but need to be classical really), that will be clear what it is, but also fairly unfussy so that it can form a background for a lot of text.  It mustn't be a keyboard instrument as we already have a piano and an organ in the ad…

Does anyone know anyone who can come up with something really striking but suitable for covering with text?

Well, home from Peru, somewhat jet-lagged, but I've had an amazing month and yeah, I shall update in more detail (and probably in installments) at a later date.

Just thought some of you might want ot know I have returned! ^^
